David Blanco
Executive Director, Small Businesses
David Blanco has served for the past 23 years in executive positions and has established a broad background in retailing, manufacturing and the service industries. As L5’s Small Business Executive Director, he advises senior executives on workforce strategies for performance improvement and is one of most influential Hispanic business leaders, often sought for his experience and knowledge of business improvement.
In addition to his professional experience, Blanco has advised a United States Senate Committee on Hispanic workforce development issues and initiatives, participated on a California Senate Select Committee for Workforce Apprenticeships, served as a City of Los Angeles Mayoral policy advisor, and has served as a liaison to various City of Los Angeles Council members.
Blanco’s educational background includes undergraduate studies at the University of Redlands and graduate studies in Business Management at the prestigious Peter F. Drucker Executive Management Center at Claremont Graduate University.
